Hume Pod 2.0 review
A smart body composition scale with 8 sensors and a segmental view.
Updated · By Alexander Speir, Sensory Haven Co. · Specs from each brand's own pages
The Hume Pod 2.0 is a smart scale that estimates body composition, not just weight. This review brings together what Hume lists about it: what it measures, what changed in the 2.0 model, how households use it and how buying works. It is based on Hume's published product details, not on lab testing, so every point can be checked on Hume's own pages.

The details that matter
Readings over time
Like other impedance scales, the Pod 2.0 gives estimates. The most useful view is usually the trend on the same scale, measured the same way, rather than any single reading.
Households
Each person signs in with their own Hume account, and up to 24 devices can connect to one Pod 2.0. It connects to one phone at a time, so another user nearby may need to close their app while you weigh in.
App and subscription
The Hume Health app is free, and Hume says no premium plan is needed to weigh in or view your body composition. Hume Plus is an optional paid plan that adds coaching and deeper reports.
Buying at Hume
Hume offers a 45-day return policy for devices in like-new condition, in the original packaging and bought directly from Hume. The Pod includes a 1-year warranty, and Hume lists free shipping on its Pod page.
